From the City of Hutto: The employees of the City of Hutto realize that there are families in the Hutto community who are in need of a little help throughout the year, especially with the current economic challenges. As Thanksgiving is represented by the cornucopia from the harvest, the City of Hutto employees are working to make sure that no one goes hungry on Thanksgiving. In order to accomplish this goal, the City is holding a Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive.
Hutto area residents and businesses are encouraged to bring items of canned food or dry goods as they attend Council meetings, pay their water bills, schedule parks use, visit with their police department or other municipal activities.
The employees of the City of Hutto will be delivering goods and food collected from the Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive to the Hutto Lutheran Church Food Pantry on Wednesday, November 21. The Hutto Lutheran Church is located at 402 Church Street.
